Program meets licensure requirements in the following States: At the present, no state has instituted a general licensure for Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomy Technician.  All graduates are eligible to take certification exams through the America College of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP).  Graduates are eligible for the Phlebotomy Technician Exam and after 6 months of employment, the Medical Laboratory Assistant Exam.  ASCP is a nationally recognized credentialing body.
